LCI BARCELONA FASHION FILM FESTIVAL has already begun its countdown with the presentation of the news of this edition that was celebrated this Wednesday in the SOHO HOUSE.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Over 100 guests,\u00a0 including important <\/strong>\u00a0 filmmakers, producers, brands, emerging designers and fashion industry professionals, gathered at the\u00a0SOHO HOUSE Barcelona Cocktail party<\/em> to celebrate the staging of an edition that comes with important news. <\/p>\n

LCI BCNFF will have the participation of Victor Claramunt, special guest of this edition of the festival. <\/strong><\/p>\n

“The festival will once again position Barcelona as the capital of fashion, and will celebrate its awards ceremony on October 25th at the Museu del Disseny.”<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Victor Claramunt is one of the most important\u00a0fashion films<\/em>\u00a0director in the world and the winner of the best director award at the La Jolla international festival in the USA (the equivalent of the Hollywood Oscar in\u00a0Fashion Films<\/em>)<\/strong>\u00a0and has worked for important firms such as LongcChamp , Coca Cola, PlayStation, Sony Music, Adidas, Andres Sarda, Nestle and Castrol.<\/p>\n

His fashion film Breaking Rules<\/strong>, made for Bibilou,\u00a0 has won more than 20 international awards – becoming one of the most awarded\u00a0fashion films<\/em>\u00a0in the world-<\/strong>\u00a0and his career has been recognized with a lot of awards: Best Fashion Film \/ Emerging Artist at the\u00a0Berlin Fashion Film Festival<\/strong>, Best Creative Concept at the\u00a0Medellin Fashion Film Festival,<\/strong>\u00a0Best Fashion Film and Best Production at\u00a0Australian International Fashion Film Festival,<\/strong>\u00a0and many others.<\/p>\n

Victor Claramunt, famous for his unique style and for composing magical pieces,\u00a0 conquisted the guests with his words and with his\u00a0fashion films<\/em>\u00a0from Gioseppo brand, and starring Elsa Pataky one of them and the other for children. <\/strong><\/p>\n

“A lot of media and professionals from the sector met at Soho House Barcelona, \u200b\u200bwhere the news of the 2nd Edition were presented.” <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Claramunt, recently awarded \u00a0Best Fashion Film Director\u00a0<\/em>at the\u00a0Canada International Fashion Film Festival<\/em>,<\/strong>\u00a0shared the anecdotes and experiences of both filming.<\/p>\n

He also\u00a0 explained that one of the key factors to shoot a\u00a0fashion film<\/em>\u00a0is to have a great team behind <\/strong>\u00a0and detailed the entire\u00a0 process since a brand contacts the director until they launched the\u00a0fashion film<\/em>:\u00a0<\/strong>the first contact with the director, the visualization from the\u00a0lookbook<\/em>\u00a0the internalization of the brand’s philosophy, the creation of the story … <\/p>\n

On the format of the\u00a0fashion film<\/em>, he argued how this new art had given him the opportunity to tell his stories. <\/p>\n

“The event is the only festival of fashion films in the city and the first in the world that gives special prominence to new promises.” <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In adittion, the founders of the festival \u2013Eva Font,<\/strong>\u00a0Alba Piris<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Andrea L\u00f3pez-,\u00a0<\/strong> presented the members of the commissioner and the jury of this edition, all of them\u00a0 experts with a recognized trajectory in the fashion, audiovisual and advertising world.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The comissioner<\/strong>\u00a0— who will select the finalists –\u00a0is formed<\/strong>\u00a0by the director and film producer\u00a0Judith Colell,<\/strong>\u00a0the journalist specialized in fashion culture\u00a0Charo Mora,<\/strong>\u00a0the\u00a0fashion brand consultant<\/em>\u00a0Maya McCarthy,<\/strong>\u00a0the fashion designer and art director\u00a0Fabricio P\u00e9rez,\u00a0<\/strong> and the Social and Cultural Anthropologist\u00a0S\u00edlvia Ventosa,<\/strong>\u00a0del Museu del Disseny.<\/p>\n

The LCI BCNFFF jury team are the director of\u00a0fashion films<\/em>\u00a0Victor Claramunt<\/strong>, the actress\u00a0Mariona Ribas,\u00a0<\/strong>the fashion designer\u00a0Toni Mir\u00f3,\u00a0<\/strong>Metal Magazine’s Director\u00a0Yolanda Muelas,\u00a0<\/strong>the\u00a0digital influencer<\/em>\u00a0Anna Ponsa,\u00a0<\/strong>the CEO de XXL Comunicaci\u00f3n\u00a0Alex Estil-les<\/strong>, the fashion designerKrizia Robustella,<\/strong>\u00a0the jewelry designer\u00a0Nuria Torrente\u00a0<\/strong>and the Director of\u00a0Museu del Disseny de Barcelona,<\/em>\u00a0Pilar Velez.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the event, the new awards category in this new edition were also presented:\u00a0Best Art Direction and Best Art Direction New Talent.\u00a0<\/strong>Those categories complement the other awards:\u00a0Best Fashion Film, Best Emerging Fashion Film, Best Styling, Best Emerging Styling, Best Idea, Best Emerging Idea, Best Photography and Best Emerging Photography. <\/strong><\/p>\n
