III EDITION – 2019
LCI BARCELONA FASHION FILM FESTIVAL again breaks records in its 3rd edition with a showcase of more than 210 international applications, and more than 300 guests from the fashion, film and advertising sector in its final awards ceremony.
- More than 300 guests gathered on a magical evening that discovered the great level of talent in the fashion film universe.
- In all, 10 awards were given that recognize professional and emerging talent from all over the world.
- The festival presented the 2019 Honorary Award to Inés de León, director of Vogue fashion drama, who presented an exclusive piece for the festival.
- Barcelona became the international capital of the fashion film sector with big names in the fashion world: Inés de León, Victor Claramunt, Charo Mora, Toni Miró, Ze García, Estel Vilaseca, Miranda Makaroff, Lyona Ivanova…
- Journalists Cristina Pampín and Alberto García dazzled with their sympathy and professionalism, and the party continued with the DJ session of Loli Zazou.
LCI BARCELONA FASHION FILM FESTIVAL, the only fashion film festival in the city of Barcelona and the first in the world that gives special prominence to the new promises of fashion, audiovisual and advertising, celebrated with great success its final awards ceremony on November 14 at the Museu del Disseny in Barcelona.
As in the previous editions, the festival once again exceeded all expectations: more than 300 guests, including prominent filmmakers, producers, brands, agencies and emerging designers, gathered in a magical evening to discover the winners of the third edition of LCI BCNFFF.
The final awards ceremony was the international stage of creativity, fashion and design, a fully consolidated platform that brought together the best professional and emerging talents with an auditorium full up.
The Final Gala was focused on all the details, and all the productions presented stood out for their high level, both for their content, as well as creativity and aesthetics of high quality.
In total, 10 prizes were awarded which recognize professional and emerging talent. The winners of the different categories were:
- Nouvelle Vague de Omar Perineau won the Best Professional Fashion Film Award.
The Best Emerging Fashion Film Award went to So much to do directed by Guillem Cruells.
Best Emerging Photography: The Escape by Nuria Tolós.
Best emerging Styling: Murders from the Parallel Universe by Simone Nervi.
Best Emerging Art Direction: Project I by Patricia Palacios, Xènia Provins and Susana Ripa.
Best Emerging Screenplay: Farruca by Virginia Expósito.
Best Professional Photography: Abre Asas – FARM RIO by Bruno Osório, Carlos Mach, Paulo Mendel.
Best Professional Styling: Nouvelle Vague by Omar Perineau.
Best Professional Art Direction: The Funambulist Dream by Ines von Bonhorst & Yuri Pirondi.
Best Professional Screenplay: Name That Studio by Thalia de Jong.
The festival also awarded the 2019 LCI BCNFFF Honorary Award to Inés de León, the director of Vogue fashion drama, presented by Sílvia Viudas, General Director of LCI Barcelona.
Inés de León, winner of the last edition of the festival, presented an exclusive piece for the festival, in which – with the humor and irony that characterizes her – she explained to the audience the secrets to create a fashion film.
Barcelona once again became the international capital of the fashion film sector thanks to a high international participation and big names in the fashion world. The winners were selected by the commissioner and the jury of the festival among the more than 210 candidates from around the world.
The commission of experts that has selected the finalists consists of the director and film producer Judith Colell, the journalist specialized in fashion culture Charo Mora, the fashion brand consultant Maya McCarthy, the designer and art director Fabricio Pérez, the Chief by Barcelona Fashion Press Editor Henry Rivas, the journalist and television presenter Cristina Pampín, the textile and clothing curator of the Museu del Disseny de Barcelona Sílvia Ventosa, and the best fashion film director in the world Victor Claramunt.
In the same way, the jury that selected the winners, is formed by outstanding professionals of recognized trajectory of the fashion, audiovisual and advertising sector: the film director Inés de León, the designer of Ze García José María García, the fashion designer, actress and influencer Miranda Makaroff, film director and illustrator Lyona Ivanova, filmmaker Alex Turvey, jewelry designer Nuria Torrente, journalist and founder of the fashion magazine itfashion.com Estel Vilaseca, fashion designer Toni Miró, the director of the Museu del Disseny de Barcelona, Pilar Veléz, the director of Metal Magazine Yolanda Muelas, and the director of Porto Fashion Film Festival Manuel Serrao.
The evening was presented by journalists and TV presenters Cristina Pampín and Alberto García, who dazzled the audience with their sympathy and professionalism, and had the DJ session of one of the most relevant artists of the current scene, Loli Zazou.
Cristina Pampín dressed for the occasion a spectacular couture dress in Klein blue designed by YOLANCRIS, one of the firms with more international projection of our country.
All the winners were awarded a unique piece created adhoc for the festival and prepared by the glass artist and creator of Nutopia, Nuria Torrente. The award is a unique handmade creation made exclusively for LCI BCNFFF, thus giving the prize an even more emotional meaning through a design work in which glass will be the star. They also received a beauty experience kit of Montibello products, and a very special accessory from MELLER.
